Joint Creative Classroom “Advanced database systems”, organized by the partners the University of Zagreb, the University of Belgrade, and the University of Žilina, started on Monday, November 14th 2022 with shared online lectures and an excellent number of participants - total of 60 students from three partner institutions - the biggest number of gathered students on Joint Creative Classrooms so far. The goal of JCC is to acquaint students with the theory and technology needed to implement advanced database systems including relational, temporal, deductive, object oriented, active and graph databases. In addition, various indexing, partitioning, optimization, and denormalization techniques will be covered. Students will learn about new trends and open questions in the field of database theory.
