On Friday, March 10th 2023 at 10 am at Faculty of organization and informatics University of Zagreb a presentation of TEACH4EDU4 project results (Accelerating the transition towards Edu 4.0 in HEIs) was held. The hosts of this event were members of the project team from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of organization and informatics. The event has gathered 46 face to face participants and 2 online participants.
The organizers and hosts of this event were members of the project team of the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics: associate professor Igor Balaban Ph.D., associate professor Goran Hajdin Ph.D. and M.Sc. sc. Lana Škvorc who presented the terms Industry 4.0, Education 4.0, project activities and results. Along with them, the teachers Prof. Markus Schatten Ph.D., associate professor Zlatko Stapić Ph.D., associate professor Goran Hajdin Ph.D., assistant professor Boris Tomaš Ph.D. presented their experiences within Joint creative classrooms conducted with partners institutions, together with students who participated. The invited lecture was given by Sandra Kučina Softić, assistant director of SRCE and head of the Center for e-learning with topic "Mission (im)possible: education for the digital age". The participants had the opportunity to try out the learning design tool as part of the co-creation workshop.
According to the participants, the event successfully presented the needs of transition towards Ed 4.0 in higher education with opportunities for cooperation between secondary and higher education and industry, harmonized with the needs of industry with the indispensable use of technology in education and the potential of internationalization, shared the experiences of project partners regarding lessons learned and proposals for sustainability and transferability of project results, and encouraged the exchange of opinions and proposals on future ways of using project results.
